I just spoke to Sigma and they said my lens needs a chip update. I spoke
to Canon and they said the Elan iie has a battery contact problem and I
should clean the contacts. KEH camera repair said to use and eraser to
clean the lens electrical contact surfaces. They said oxidation can form
there. I will update the discussion group when I try this.
