Hello Greg,
Reputable dealers will be truthful concerning their stock levels.
Most of them will get your order out the door the same day if the
order is received early and there is no problem with your credit
card. After the box goes out the door, the promptness depends on
the carrier. Where I live (rural northern California in the Sierra)
both FedEx and UPS do quite well ... but ground delivery from the
eastern US coast can take up to seven working days. I think that
B&H ships all orders 2nd day FedEx, and they have always been very
prompt with my orders. KEH is also very good about next day
shipping.
