Hi Andrew,
Mak Kar Yan (Margaret) has a website which features, among many things,
the 35mm Third Party equipment compatibilities and incompatibilities page.

She has included a section about Sigma lenses. There seems to be more
posted about Sigma lenses than the other brands, maybe a reflection of
price and market share.
