As you probably know, the PB-E1 has an exposure locc button, so this is 
not a problem. However, as a user of an 1N with PB-E1, I have to admit 
to have cursed the thing more than once for not having a second main 
dial. This is rather inconvenient at times. At a forth of the price for 
an E2 it seems like a good deal, though. Besides the AA batteries it 
takes, it also greatly reduces the mirror blackout time, which is a 
great plus IMHO.
