What gets me is that while the EOS 1n is still being sold new, you can't
seem to find it's conjoined PB-E1 sold as new anymore. The 1n is still a
viable top-of-the-line professional model and now at under $1K (US), it's a
steal. But if you want to buy a new Power Booster with it, it seems that it
has to be the PB-E2 which has several controls that will not even function
with the 1n. And as was mentioned, you will have to pay half again as much
for the PB-E2 and those non-working dials and buttons. Wish Canon would
have had a commensurate stock of PB-E1s on hand to go along with the
discontinued 1n.
