HI - MLU on the Elan 7/EOS 30 is set by a Custom Funtion (C.Fn 5 - 0=disabled, 1= enabled) When enabled, pressing the shutter button once locks the mirror up, and pressing it a second time fires the shutter. The mirror will remain locked up for 30 seconds after the 1st press, or until the 2nd press, whichever comes first.
