Well ;-) I heard from a usually well uninformed source, there will
be a 28-70 f/2.8 L IS USM next year, also a 400 f/5.6 L IS USM.
Now, what about the new 35mm f/2.8 TSE IS? It's virtually distortion free,
very sharp and contrasty even in the corners and even when shifted the
full amount of 14mm in any direction it shows virtually no light falloff.
It also features IS. There are also (unconfirmed) rumours, that the
Sultan of Brunei is busy saving money for the new 1600 f/5.6 DO lens.
