I have one of these having upgraded from the EOS 50e/Elan IIe. The eye
control is superior (faster) to the 50e and the DoF preview button is, to
me, better than the eye control of the previous body. The 30 now has 4 fps
and 35 zone metering that I think is much better.
There has been much discussion on the list, so maybe you should check the
archives as well.
