What does the EOS 5 lack that you feel you need.
(Note that I said NEED, not want)? Unless you think
an EOS 3 or 30 will really improve your picture
taking, why not save your money for film and
processing (you're going to take a LOT of pictures
after your baby's born) or maybe that long lens?
The 3 is a great camera, but so is the 5. If it meets
your needs, keep it and don't worry about resale
value.
