One of my bodies is an EOS 55 - the Japanese domestic
market version of the 50e / Elan IIe. Everything on
the camera is in english. Even the box is in english
even though 55's were only sold in Japan.
The manual however was in Japanese, but buying an
english version manual from Canon wasn't a problem.
I presume that B&H (or other) grey market cameras come
with an english manual?
