I wasn't really paying close attention, but I could have sworn that the 
Washington Post's top sports photographers had a prototype with him last 
fall.  It looked like a 1V at first, but as I was walking behind him, I saw 
the LCD screen.  He used to have a 1N and the older supertele's, but on 
that day he had one of the new IS lenses as well.  I should have gotten a 
closer look, but I didn't.  I just know it didn't look anything like a 
1N.  Though if I had to put money on it, it was probably my eyes playing 
tricks on me. ;-)
