Yes, the general conclusion of the discussion several months ago was that
if you have unlimited resources (as the desire to use the 50/1.0 suggests),
then the best way to go would be medium format or large format. The
shift/tilt of the large format cameras would be especially nice... Or using
a 6x9 camera.... The advantage of medium format is that even if the lenses
are 95% as good (a number I'm pulling off my head; the Zeiss lenses are
certainly more than the equal of 'L' lenses), the negative is more than
200% as large, which makes up. Since this is essentially a studio shot and
you have the leisure of setting up, go with medium/large format.
And like the other writer suggested, take *lots* of photos. Someone *will*
blink and it will always be your boss.
