  That's true. I guess I just haven't been particularly impressed by 
the information quality of the Magic Lantern books that I've read. 
The manuals are pretty terse and sometimes ambiguous, but the Magic 
Lantern books just seemed stuffed with a lot of extraneous fluff. And 
even though they're sold as substitute manuals they seem to be 
missing a lot of really basic stuff (eg: photos of the cameras with 
the components labelled) that you can only find in the manuals.

  Clearly there's a need for obsessively accurate and useful 
instruction manuals written by actual users of the equipment... if 
only someone would fund the EOS manual project, eh? :)
