I called the 1-800-OK-CANON number and was directed to the right place to get a
manual. However, it has been nearly two weeks since I ordered the manual for the Elan
7E. I am thinking about getting one and wanted to read the manual to get a feel for
the available features.
The thing that gets me is the the Canon DV camcorders all have their manuals available
on-line as PDF files. I was able to read the manual and become familar with the
product before I purchased it. Ordering manuals over the phone and waiting for snail
mail delivery (and having to pay for it) is a much less efficient method of
distributing the manuals.
