I'm looking at getting the wireless release for my EOS 30, but want to
check it's suitability for long exposures. If I'm wanting to take an
hour long exposure of the night sky, does it have the locking facility,
and how usable is it (I'm not sure I like the idea of having to setup
the remote to point at the IR sensor for long periods). I also figure
that long exposures will probably drain it's battery ...
