Hi!
I have to take some pictures of a graphics collection, painted on
canvases of aprox. 100 x 100 cm. the canvas background is pure white
and the graphics are painted with fine black and dark brown lines.

1. should I take the shots in the room or open air (is sunlight better
than flashlight in this case)?
2. should I care to manage some special color background to contrast
with the white (the walls are white also, but little darker)?
3. should I use the autofocus feature of the 650 in the Av mode or use the selective
measuring one?
4. how should I best calculate the aperture and the exposure?

thanks in advance!
mibu

ps: I saw pictures of this collection made by some other guy, but
they lack contrast and have a slight color cast (neutrals are not
neutral).
