Patrice,
I used thew EOS-1V w/PB-E2 for 6 weeks 3 of which it was with me on
assignment
in Alaska and was my prime camera.
It is every bit as good as the EOS-3, plus the body is more rugged. Very
well
designed and AF is slightly faster than the EOS-3 but you'd be hard pressed
to
see a difference. Focus tracking is very very good with the 1V.
While I liked the 1V I remain with the EOS-3 as my prime 35mm SLR because
I like ECF and am not a fan of 100% viewfinder (my presonal preference).
