It uses EF lenses with an adapter, but I can't find a
clear answer as to what the multiplier is.  Canon does
claim angle of view equivilent to 35mm lenses of 24mm
to 17,280mm !!!  That might be with the XL-1 1.6x TC,
the Ef lens adapter, and 1.4x and 2x EF TCs on a
1200mm lens, however <g>.

I had a chance to play with one, briefly, at a camera
store.  If I ever win big bucks in the lottery, I'll
buy one!
