Andy Rouse (www.andyrouse.co.uk) an EOS wildlife photographer, recently had
two series on the UK Channel 5 station, aptly named 'Wildlife
Photographer'. He used a Canon digital camcorder and I think he said it
magnified the 35mm equiv image x 20, probably sue to the small size of the
CCD.

I believe the camera they used for the andy rouse programs was the Canon XL1
or something similar,
I believe it produces focal lengths that are 7X longer than if used with
35mm gear (I.E. A 100mm lens would become a 700mm lens !!!, Or a 400mm lens
would become a 2800mm lens !!!!!!!!!! :-) )
