Hi Grega,
A lot. I used the same lens on an Elan 7 with the onboard flash
while doing some exposure tests. There's already some blockage at
the 28mm end. Once you zoom out at all there is unacceptable
blockage. I don't have my EOS 300 anymore, but judging by my
experience with that body, the problem would be quite a bit
worse. The flash sits even lower on the body than on the Elan.
