Hi Peter,

The 50 f1.4 is the only Canon lens with Micro Motor
USM lens (not Ring type USM) that provides FTM.  

Oddly, you would think if they can do it with that one
lens, they could do it with others (MM USM is cheaper
than Ring USM), but alas....
