regarding the comments about buying on photo.net for example, I usually do
not use paypal or escrow and have not had any problems with selling, but I
also have references and home and work numbers are also nice. In my
expierence if you can talk to them on the phone you are less likely to get
scammed. References are always the best factor though. I would never buy
from someone selling a big ticket item with no references, no phone number to
reach them at and not willing to do paypal then that is a big red flag.
