It might work just fine (in terms of light loss, at
least) with a 200/f2.8, 300/2.8, and even the
70-200/2.8, all of which become f8 and will still AF
with the EOS 3 and 1v. With the 200/1.8 it becomes a
600/4.5, which wouldn't be bad at all, but I certainly
can't afford it. And I suppose someone will use it on
the 100mm f2 to get a cheapo 300/5.6, but I'm not sure
how much sense that makes.

My biggest concern isn't light loss, it's image
quality loss. The biggest market for a 3X converter
seems to me to be the low budget amateur, but sticking
this on something like the 70-300 zooms just ain't
gonna work!
