That is only too true. When I was interested in a 24 TS-E I
called our local customs office and asked for the import tax.
The crazy thing was that the tax officer asked for the focal
length and if was for a middle format or 35mm camera! There are
so many different percentages!
In the end it turned out that it was only about 5% cheaper if
ordered from B&H than from my local store.
