Hi all,

Here I come with another minor casualty to report.

Today I was shooting on a garden. I was changing lenses and at the
moment I took off the back cover of the 100f2.8 a little insect came
flying directly to the rear element. I didn't want to make an insect
mess in there and tried to blow it away. The insect walked almost
instantly to the border and went inside. All I could do was watch :-(
:-(

Luckly I didn't see it (up to now) going on the glass. I'm sorry about
the insect criminality, but is there any way I can kill this little
beast?? Maybe by freezing the lens of something?? I'm afraid I could
grow or have offspring having a nice USM engine as nest.

I'm sure some of you nature shooters have had some situation like
this...

Thanks a lot!!!

Gerard.

PS: this's the third little accident... the curse should stop by now,
isn't it?
PS2: Maybe my lenses are not suffering of the screaming episodes
reported by some of you but they are suffering the consecuenses of going
often "on mission" :-) :-)
