I've been using EOS-3 now for one year and after trying my 50E
lately I didn't find the body quality & feel or AF or fps or
build-in flash or spot metering mode or such to be the *most*
important difference.

Instead - since I'm using AE lock frequently - I found the
ability of EOS-3 to show the exposure changes after locking
the exposure to be the most helpful feature.

I use currently the partial mode and find it highly practical
to be able to check the exposure level of different image parts
after locking. It is easy to see if the levels fit in the film
exposure range (e.g. +- 2 stops or so). Sometimes spot meter
might be even more practical.

I wanted to write this because I don't remember I have seen
this often mentioned by others.

Vesa
