This question has been asked before. The answers were always non-conclusive.
I personly think it is not in the coating, but if you have plastic or glass
eyeglasses. This because IR (as being reported to being used by ECF) only
pass trough plastic, and not trough glass.
ECF works with my eyglasses. (Plastic, with anti-reflective, anti-scratch
and a little bit of color. Made by .... Nikon)
