Just a couple of questions about this lens.
Is it possible to use a Tiffen CP filter reg. or wide angle with the
retracting lens. The Tiffen CP's do not have lip wider than the lens.
Also, is there any significant difference between versions I and II.
Canon's web museum shows the II version coming out in less than one year
after first, 15 grams lighter and about 2mm shorter. Besides that
specifications are about the same.
Is this lens significantly sharper to use as a main lens versus 24-85.
Of course considering the restricted range. I only speaking about
optical quality.
