Back in '57 or '58 my car was a '56 VW bug, and one day when it was
being serviced a salesman talked me into taking a test drive in a new
Porche. I yearned for that little red Sportster ... it would go twice
as fast as my Bug ... and really looked sexy! Then rationality reared
its head; yes it would go fast and handled beautifully, but there was
even less room than my Bug, still had the same horrible heater, cost
three times as much to maintain, and the price was almost $5,000! My
trustworthy Bug started looking pretty good again! ;-)
