Over on eosdoc, there is some dispute about the type of
autofocus motor used in the EF 50mm f/1.8 (the original
version) that was discontinued in 1990.
Some sources say "Micromotor".
Other sources say "Arc Form Drive".
This thread is even in the List Archives as far back as
1996, but with no satisfactory resolution.
Does anyone have an old version of Lens Work? Or an old
"EF Lenses" Brochure from before 1990.
