Ok, fair enough. What I should have said was, telephotos can be excellent
landscape lenses too, and in many cases can be more suitable than a
wide-angle�especially an ultra-wide angle. Personally, I still prefer something
longer than 50mm for most (not all) of my landscape work, except when some
foreground detail is the essential element.

I know those guys! (Not personally, of course).  :-)
