Hi gang,
I have some experience with HIE in my EOS 50E and know what to expect
from it. Now I became intrigued by color IR (or false-color) photography
(yes, I read the last number of Practical Photo ;-)
I wonder if the 900nm peak of EIR will be just enough to prevent the
known IR sensor fogging? Or is the problem still there?
Another minor thing I wanted to know: Is EIR DX coded? I read it's rated
ISO 200 and has a VERY VERY small latitude. I know that's not a problem
with the 50E, but I want to use it also in a compact waterproof camera
that only "understands" DX ;-)
I'd like to put some of this film underwater... just for the fun ;-)
Thankx,
Gerard.
