No, you can not say this, because the 50 f/1.4 is sharper then the f/1.8,
but you can say that it will be sharper than any zoom-lens of Canon or any
other brand.
The difference however between the 1.4 and 1.8 at there best f/stop is not
very much, but the matter of quality/price is quite a different story!
