I am aware of the possible chip conflicts between Sigma lenses & newer EOS
cameras. However I have just received some slides back when using the above
combination at an airshow which are all overexposed for flight shots. I have
tested the metering using this lens on both the 30 and my old 600 and I
obtain exactly the same meter readings so :
1) Is this just operator error e.g. have I accidentally dialled in exposure
compensation and not noticed OR
2) Is this how the chip problem manifests itself giving the right reading
but not closing down to the correct aperture OR
3) Anything else
I have to add that my EOS 600 gave well exposed flight shots with no
exposure comp at this location previously
