Hi group!

I really need some help. I just fitted an Ec-D focusing screen in my EOS
3. I then noticed that the central focusing point was off-centered with
the the center of the focusing screen's grid (it was about centered in
the left-right alignment, but way off in the top-bottom alignment). I
tried to adjust the screen within the possible tolerances but with
little or no results. Is it a screen problem, or is my camera faulty?
Should I return the screen/camera or do I just have to live with it?
After refitting the EOS 3 standard screen I found the same problem.
However I had never noticed it before. I guess the problem is not so bad
with the standard screen (or less noticeable).
To make matters worst, after all the fitting-refitting-adjustment, I
found some very tiny black specs on the viewfinder. I cleaned the
mirror, the focusing screen and the eyepiece, but they were still there.
I suppose they inside the camera now. They are not that big but I'm a
bit paranoid when it comes to having a bright and clean viewfinder. Any
suggestions?
You help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hugo Lopes
