Hello all!
I'm trying to find a good "action/hiking" type camera bag for my Canon Elan
IIe (50e).
What I'm trying to carry is Elan IIe with BP-50 attached to it, EF 28-105,
EF 100-300/4.5-5.6, and very often EF 100 Macro. I also have a 380EX flash
unit. In near future I'm planning to buy 20-35 on top of that. So it comes
to 4 lenses + flash unit, several filters and some other small accessories
such as remote.
I've checked a few bags so far, such as Lowepro OffRoad 2 and Topload Zoom.
Tamrac MAS systems seems to be attractive although I was not able to find it
in local stores to see how it fits. MAS belt with harness looks like a good
solution in terms of spreading weight evenly around the body (good for
hiking) and allows to buy extra "pockets" for lenses as needed. At the same
time it looks like it would be easy to unload camera/change lenses when
needed. On other hand Lowepro Offroad 2 seems to be a good choice too
although I need extra space for a lens and a flash. It also might be
attached to a belt and I wonder if Lowepro makes those (I'm still waiting
for my paper catalogs to arrive and website is sort of hard to navigate
making such choices).
I wonder if anybody faced the same problem and can give recommendation on
what to buy.
Thanks in advance,
Boris.
