I think we are saying the same thing, but with perhaps different
"artistic interpretation".
Unlike the M42 screw mount (double-yukk), the EF bayonet makes
lens changes really easy.
So, if I need a focal length or aperture available on one of my
prime lenses, I shoot with the prime. And if I need a focal
length or feature (like IS or zooming) that is only available
on one of my zooms, I shoot with the zoom.
I only wish I had time to shoot more :-)
