OTOH, newspaper reproduction does not require 6MP image quality.

Agreed Henry, but you can set the option of lower resolution (like 1.3
MPixels) with digital cameras such as the S1 Finepix and transmit those
images from a laptop. Something you cannot do with film. ;-)
