Thanks, Robert, I saw one @ keh for 3000 and it seemed cheap when compared
to the new ones. I asked the salesperson if this the current model and she
was going to check on it. upon further checking on their web site, it turns
out it is not IS thus not the current model 300 canon is shipping. most of
canon websites shows the old 300 and not the 300 is
