Hi list,
I just bought a new lens: it's the Canon EF 20-35/3.5-4.5. It came with the
EW-83II dedicated lens hood.
My only problem is that the lens hood seems to be extremely tight, I'd say
TOO tight. I have to apply what seems to me very strong force to turn it on.
It's so strong I'm afraid the lens may break.
Am I oversensitive? Is the amount of force I have to apply normal? Do I just
have to wait for the friction to loosen up a bit? Or should I use some
special grease to reduce the friction?
