Hi,
Has anyone had a chance to compare the optical quality of the new convertor
with the old. I have an opportunity to buy one tomorrow at a substancial
discount and while I like the idea of the weather seal for my 1v/300 combo,
I need to be sure of a noticable quality improvement to justify the expense.
My series 1 isn't that old and does a reasonable job, but it is hard to
knock back a once only 30% saving.
If the quality is better, is it noticable on hand printed 6 x 4's, 8 x 10's,
or only good quality slides with a loupe?
