  Lots of hoods for older lenses have the push-in panels. The EW-65 II 
hood for the... 35mm (I think), the ET-62 II for the 100-300 5.6L, 
the ET-65 II for the 100-300 USM...

  It's not a brilliant design, since the hoods are fastened on by 
little tiny plastic clips that are pretty easily broken off. On the 
other hand, arguably bayonet hoods tend to stay on too well sometimes.
