The only grip for the EOS 630 (and 620, 600, 650 and RT) with a remote socket is the GR-20. It takes a "T3" plug, such as found on the RS-60T3 remote switch and 1000-T3 extension cord. Canon also made a "Cable Release Adapter T3" which can interface a screw-in mechanical cable release with the GR-20 grip. However, IMHO there are advantages to the electronic switch (RS-60T3) over the mechanical/adapter solution. The GR-20 grip has been out of production for some years now... be prepared to pay dearly for a second-hand one. -- Dave Herzstein email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.kjsl.com/~dave * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
