Just noticed (while at airport for the airshow media day) that the manual focusing ring on the EF100-400 got noticeably stiffer, I have been using the MTF recently to initially tweak the focus to approximately sharp before letting the AF take over, so this really only just happened today. AF still works fine though, I hope it will last me through the weekend. The lens was used just last weekend without problem. Anyone else have had this problem? If so what was the problem and how much was the repair cost?
