A short while back I asked for some advice on a first EOS purchase at
roughly the same price - either an EOS 5 (A2E) or an EOS 30 (7).
Many thanks to all who responded either on or off list.
The trouble is I still am unsure what to do!
The advice falls into two camps:
1) Don't buy a 5 - too many command dial problems
2) Don't buy a 30 - too many AF assist problems
There have been slightly more of response 2 than response 1.
Admittedly, this is a little simplified but maybe I should forget both of
them and go for one of the simpler machines! After all, it's the lens that
counts. Has anyone else taken that route?
There are some superb deals on the EOS 300 here in the UK at the moment.
