Well I had tried several different rolls of film. That just added more film
with the leader in the can to my collection but your tips on thinking that
the camera still had film in it had to be on track. Everything else worked
fine.
The solution was to have the camera rewind the film with no film in it. To
do that on this model you had to take the lens off, turn the dial to ISO and
press both buttons on the back at the same time to activate the camera
rewinding the film back in the can. Now the memory seemed to have cleared
and will now accept film without a problem. Thanks for the help
