The other list members who have expressed their sympathy have said almost
all, and more, than I could.
This frightful deed still has not fully sunk in, and I suspect it will take
some time to do so.
My thoughts are with the American people. To me, the spirit of your great
nation showed itself when I saw in today's paper a picture of NYC firemen
raising the "Stars and Stripes" on a pole sticking out of the ruins of the
WTC.
Let it not be forgotten though that the WTC was a workplace for people
from ALL parts of the world, and we should remember them and their families
at this dark time.
