The sunny 16 "rule" is actually just a rough guide. Your actual results will
depend lot on the time of day, season of year, and latitude of your location.
Where I live (New Hampshire), most of the year it's more like "Sunny 11." Not
sure what you mean by "EOS3 meter claimed overexposure"--was the meter reading
indicating more exposure or less exposure than what the sunny 16 suggested?
