Hi all,

I've another question on softening flash light. For the upcoming wedding
event (tomorrow) I rented an extra 550ex to have every SPF (single point
of failure) doubled. So, two bodies, two flashes 4 lenses covering the
regular range almost twice.

Now, I was thinking on my soft vs. harsh flash problem and I though I
could use one 550ex pointing to the ceiling for fill in (when indoors)
and the other pointing forward with compensation -2EV or so to provide
fill-in in the face features (typically darkened in bounce flash
situations) and catchlights.

Any experience with such a (heavy) setup?

Recommendations?? Which one should be master / slave ??

BTW: I'm the (amateur) backup. For the main parts of the wedding (church
& reception) so I'm "allowed" to play creatively while the 'pro' fits
the bill. The rest of the day, I'm "the one and only" (or the only one,
I should say ;-) ;-) (I'm taking it easy while I can).
