I've been reading the "EOS Reversing Lens for Macro" thread with great
interest. I have a question: how do you mount the camera + 75-300mmIS +
50mm to a tripod? I don't believe that the 75-300mm has a tripod collar. I
have mounted my EOS Elan with the 75-300mm to a tripod but found it
difficult to position, not to mention the strain on the camera's tripod
socket. I can't imagine that adding the additional weight to the end of the
75-300mm would be any better. Is there a tripod collar available for the
75-300mmIS? Or, better yet, is there an inexpensive DIY method for mounting
this lense to a tripod?

Thanks in advance for any help.
